What is Kericho Gold?

Kericho (pronounced Keri’ chow) is an area in Western Kenya Highlands associated with tea due to its vast and scenic tea plantations.

Kericho Gold Tea is sourced from Kenya highlands where only the tender two leaves and a bud are hand picked. The leaves have the highest concentration of catechins, the powerful antioxidants known to inhibit growth of some certain cancers, boost the body’s immunity among several other benefits. Kenyan tea is pesticide free.

Kericho Gold Tea has a bright golden yellow colour, a unique highland flavour and a taste that keeps you wanting more.
What are antioxidants?

Antioxidants are components which help to protect cells from harmful “free radicals”, known as oxidants. Free radicals occur naturally in the body as a by-product of the respiration process and can bring about cell damage. Antioxidants help to prevent this cell damage, which can contribute to ageing and a number of chronic diseases, including cancer, heart disease and stroke.

Detox and Slima are not recommended for breastfeeding mothers. Slima tea is not suitable for pregnant women either.
